2010 Business Matchmaking and Networking Event
brings potential government procurement to Fresno County

Now in its third year, the Matchmaking Event includes the following benefits:
- Exposure to large procurement opportunities through one-on-one meetings with local, federal, state, and corporate purchasing agents.
- Training sessions prior to the event to help business owners become certified and prepare for one-on-one meetings
- Networking with other local vendors to optimize business-to-business opportunities within the local business community.
- In 2008 over $4.1 million worth of contracts were awarded to small business participants. In 2010, our goal is to raise the bar for awarded contracts, while keeping with the City’s priority of focusing resources towards our local business community and stimulating our local economy. The Business Matchmaking & Networking Event presents a tremendous opportunity for companies to actively participate in the City’s larger mission of supporting a locally based economy through community-driven efforts and initiatives.
